Did you ever lose a customer?
I guess most of have, even if we don’t like to admit it or talk about it. There are many reason why clients stop dealing with a business but there is one that stands out. Any guesses?
Would you say because:
- The competition has a cheaper deal going and they go for that? – Yes, that is possible but it is not the major culprit.
- You might not have done the best job and they are going to check out somebody else. No, still not the main reason.
- OK, they moved away…no, that’s not it.
- Customers stop buying from us because they feel disconnected, they have and attitude and a feeling of indifference. Apparently 68% of customers leave for this reason alone. And guess what we really help them to get to that decision. We help them because we don’t communicate with them on regular basis or at all sometimes and they perceive us as we don’t care, we don’t really have their best interest in our hearts.
How often do you really communicate with your client base? Do you do any email marketing? Do you phone them to ask them if there is anything they might need from you?
